The Iranian Ambassador to Kenya, Ali Gholampour, has reassured that Kenyans in Iran can leave safely through special “no‑land exit corridors,” amid rising regional tensions following recent US and Israeli strikes on Iranian territory.

or those wishing to leave through the no‑land exit corridors,” he said.
The corridors are overland routes coordinated with embassies and neighbouring countries.
They allow foreign nationals to exit safely when airports are closed or air travel is restricted.
Kenyans can travel through these routes to neighbouring countries before accessing further transport back home.
The ambassador also reassured that Kenya is not under any missile threat from Iran.
“Our missile range is limited to 2,000 kilometres, which does not reach Kenya. This shows our defensive intentions,” he said, emphasising that Iran’s military operations are focused on self-defence and not aimed at civilians abroad.
He further highlighted the strong diplomatic ties between Iran and Kenya and said the country remains committed to protecting foreign nationals while exercising its right to self-defence.
