According to the charge sheet, he faces two counts involving Sh 253,000 obtained from the victims under the alleged scheme.
In the first count, prosecutors allege that between July 1, 2025, and September 24, 2025, at Norwich House along Kimathi Lane in Nairobi, he obtained sh 253,000 from Christine Jelagat Sitienei by falsely claiming he could secure employment for her son, Vincent Kipkemboi Birgen.
He is also accused of obtaining sh 253,000 from Winnie Jepchirchir on April 28, 2025, by falsely promising to help her secure a job in Denmark for her brother, Vincent Kipkemboi Birgen.
Kyalo denied the charges and pleaded not guilty. The prosecution did not oppose his release on bond but requested two weeks for mention of the case.
The case is set for mention on January 22, 2026, for further directions.
