The 3rd Edition Kenya Buildcon International Expo 2026 will be held from June 11–13 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi.

Construction, renewable energy, and wood industry players have been invited to secure exhibition space for the 3rd Edition of the Kenya Buildcon International Expo 2026, scheduled for June 11–13 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi.

The three-day event is expected to bring together exhibitors, investors, manufacturers, and industry experts from Kenya and abroad, providing a platform to showcase innovative solutions, technologies, and products across the built environment and energy sectors.

The 3rd Edition Kenya Buildcon International Expo 2026 will be held from June 11–13 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi.

Organisers say the expo aims to strengthen business linkages within the construction and allied industries, while also accelerating the adoption of modern and sustainable practices.

Key focus areas will include green building technologies, renewable energy solutions, modern construction materials, interior design, and innovations within the wood industry.

The expo will run alongside the 2nd Edition of the Kenya SEPL (Solar, Electric, Power and Lights) International Expo, further expanding its scope to cover advancements in clean energy, power efficiency, and lighting solutions.

The parallel events are expected to attract a wider range of participants and enhance opportunities for cross-sector collaboration between construction and energy stakeholders.

Court lifts bans on Marie Stopes Kenya abortion services

The High Court at Milimani has struck down three directives that had barred Marie Stopes Kenya from offering abortion services, post-abortion care, and related health information, delivering a major victory for women, adolescents, and marginalized groups. The directives, issued by the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC), and the Director of Medical Services (DMS), had sparked a legal battle spanning more than seven years. Court suspends Sh325bn Kenya–US health pact following Omtatah's petition

 The High Court has suspended the implementation of a $2.5 billion (sh 325 billion) health cooperation framework between Kenya and the United States following a constitutional petition filed by Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah Okoiti.  The petition, filed as PET E816 of 2025, challenges the legality of the agreement signed on December 4, 2025. Omtatah sued Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Musalia Mudavadi, the Cabinet Secretary for Health, the National Treasury, and the Attorney General, accusing the government of bypassing public participation, Parliament, and data protection safeguards.
